Life is full of ups and downs, isn't it? One moment things are great, then they go sour, then back to good again, almost like a rollercoaster ride. Life is even better as a Christian who gives God the steering wheel in life. It's thrilling, nauseating, but wonderful because we have the God's viewpoint, if we listen and watch. This week was one of those for us. Just when I thought I had everything under control, a health issue reared it's ugly head. Not only that, I fell behind in absolutely everything! My progression with workouts were toast and the couch became my friend. Ugh. I hate to be down. Housework fell behind, taunting me within my view. Technical issues mounted until I was ready to scream. You get the picture. Think of the tension mounting like a roller coaster ratcheting up the first steep hill, just before....
In the background, God was working. I may grumble and grouch some of my prayers- okay, I did that quite a bit this week- but God still listens. While I was feeling like garbage, I forced myself to go outside in the beautiful, 60 degree fahrenheit weather (A miracle from God here in Michigan!!!). While trudging in the sunshine, I was "ping"ed by my phone with the question, "How can I pray for you?" was the basic gist of the message. It was someone from a large ministry who initiated a conversation a few days earlier. This person had no clue what I was going through when they asked. So I sent a basic prayer request back. Oddly interesting, things are better right now. Not only that, the tech issues are working out and a situation my hubby was expecting to explode was amazingly diffused. But God showed Himself through not only those, but testimonies of friends how God acted in only a way God does. No deep "heart in the throat" drops nor breakneck turns! I will say that God's loop-de-loops are interesting, though. When we trust our God to handle problems, pouring out our hearts as to a trusted caring Friend, our stress dissolves. We grow deeper in our relationship with Him as He leads us on His grand adventure! How are you seeing God in the middle of your life moments? Let us know at email@example.com.
Our Insiders Newsletters are on hold due to technical difficulties. We are working on these issues to get those back into the hands of our great group of special people. Thank you for your patience!

In Case You Missed Them:
Zig-Zag Traveling Squats
Like squats? Amp it up by adding an ankle band! Start at the end of your workout space with the band around both ankles (some have ankle wraps with velcro while others don't). Keeping a steady tension on the band and eyes forward toward your goal destination, step out with your squat at a 45 degree angle, step in without letting the band totally relax, step out on the other side at a 45 degree angle. Continue your zig-zag to your destination. Stop and shake your legs out with the band relaxed. Go back to where you began with your zig-zags. Your outer thighs will burn by the time you are done! A variation kicks up the burn even more: Stay in squat position until you get to the end point for the walk (Monster Walk).
