End of Week Review 12/16/16

The end of 2016 is about close, with 2017 knocking at our doors. My hubby and I were looking through pictures on our iPhones the other day to put together a collage for our friends and family. It's amazing what all we've done and the places we've been. If all we saw for the overall year was from a scene of a so-so day or even a bad day, what would our Christmas letter look like? Not something our friends and family would want to read, that's for sure. We found ourselves thanking God for all the blessings we've had for 2016. What about you? What was your year like? Can you see the blessings in spite of the not-so-hot stuff?

There are several Jingle Bell Runs all over the country. The Arthritis Foundation hosts their Jingle Bell Run every year. to raise funds for arthritis research, advocacy, and more. Some might already be past, but others may still be coming up. You can usually find events at www.active.com, too.

Holiday Weight Management Tip: Keep Up Your Workout During the Holidays!

You've worked hard to lose weight and keep it off, but the Christmas season worries you. Stay steady with your workout during the holiday season. Eat light the day before Christmas gatherings. Only enjoy holiday treats the day of the event, then eat light the day after. Stick with appropriate serving sizes. Don't try anything new right now because there will be interruptions with family events and other gatherings. After New Years, fire it up!
