Recently, a bunch of gadgets came to our house from our health insurance company in cooperation with the HR department from my hubby's employer. We looked at each other in disbelief at the ridiculous, childish theme of the stuff we received. Don't get me wrong, I believe in getting employees to take their health seriously, but it's hard to be serious when you get this kind of junk! The only reasonably adult item is the measuring tape on the right, bottom of the plate. Pedometer? Please! However, I would like to use this as a reminder to take advantage of the perks company insurance offers like helpful online tools, resources, incentives, and gym memberships. They may help save your life one day. I just wish they would stop treating adults like kids, that's all!

Thank you for supporting the expenses of our operation by purchasing items from our Store and affiliate links on our site. Most people don't know how much it costs for our operation, but my prayer partners will when the figures are pulled together for the end of year. We are not non-profit at this time because we aren't ready for that big step yet. We need to have some charges to take care of those costs. Thank you!
Our ministry keeps growing. You will see a lot of changes happening to our website, so please nose around to see what is where. Thank you in advance for your patience. You are always welcome to offer your constructive input in the comments below or to our email. Your input is very valuable to the development of this ministry. Bonus: Bring Back the Medicine Ball
The medicine ball has been a longstanding favorite among exercise equipment. It's no longer just for old gym teachers in ugly gray sweats! They are now used in gyms, health clubs, and sports conditioning. Some bounce, some splat on the ground, but they all have concentrated weight and need two hands to hold. What great tools to help you burn fat and build muscle. There are some great exercises to challenge your whole body. Check this out from the American Council on Exercise: Total Body Medicine Ball Workout.
