End of Week Review 11/13/2015

Some of the strangest circumstances happen to the people who serve our Risen Savior. I thought that would tame down after my first husband passed away and I became a "regular" Christian in the pew.Nope. Following God's call in the ministry of writing, I've discovered that it continues!  *Sigh* I literally fried an iPhone cord one day on the road. It was plugged into the accessory outlet and must have had a break in the wire. There were two in the adapter because I wasn't sure which one worked. Thankfully, my phone was plugged into the good one. Flames and sparks shot from the defective cord, burning the connector right off! Other weird, odd things happen to us which make absolutely no sense and come in rapid succession. Thankfully, an angelic war is waged in heaven on our behalf, God is on His throne, and Jesus reigns! As I wrote the devotion, "Ancient of Days" yesterday morning, I was worshiping the Lord listening to Ancient of Days, Days of Elijah, and many other praise and worship tunes. When rough stuff comes, it helps to be reminded Who is really in charge and God's kingdom wins. This place is not our home for those of us who know the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I hope you are encouraged by this when things aren't going well for you.

In case you missed them:

Product Review: Mineral Fusion
I try to give you a review of some product every once in a while. One that I found for people who have allergies, celiac disease, or just want safe skin care and makeup products is Mineral Fusion. Since I can't go to the local discount store to pick up cheap makeup or skin care products, I look for something good when it's on sale. Mineral Fusion is safe, organic, gluten-free, and allergy friendly. I've used their face wash, face scrub and moisturizers with no irritation or breakouts. That's big for me. They also have a great line of make-up products that would hold their own in a competition against the drugstore lines. The only drawback is the mascara must be put in the refrigerator to prolong it's usability; otherwise, it will build up bacteria easily. I've found these great products at Whole Foods, Sprouts, Earthfare, Fresh Thyme, and Ulta. If you are in the market for something safe and good for your skin, this is it!

Exercise Tip: When doing a row/tricep extension compound, do not flex wrist back with the tricep extension. Keep it still to avoid tendonitis of the wrist.

Nutrition Tip: Feel hungry an hour after your meals? Drink an 8 oz. glass of water before you eat, fill up on fresh or steamed veggies, and be sure to get whole grains in your carbs. Don't skimp on lean protein!

You've got a whole host of tips in "Stop it! Your Killing your Efforts". Test them out! God bless you.
