End of Week Review 11/6/2015

It's been an interesting week since the last time. Technology is a great tool-- when it works! I downloaded updates on my computer. Check! I connected my phone to the computer to download pictures while freeing up memory. Oops! To keep from dragging out the story, My computer is now quirky and my phone thinks it's last year. Oh, NO! Working out the kinks will take some time. However, I have to thank the Lord for the technology we have. How easy it is to take something we use every day for granted.

Speaking of which, this week's theme is about memory. No, it's not just for old people! These tips help students taking tests, people with sit-down jobs at computers, busy moms and dads,  it helps EVERYONE. Think of time when you couldn't remember something simple. HMMM. Maybe there was something a year ago.... Wait! I got it! It was this morning...I walked out of the house in my slippers!!!! Then this one's for you.Two posts this week, in case you missed them:

Remembering with Gratitude there seemed to be confusion with the original title.

Since the second post talks about nutrition, I won't give you a food of the week. Instead, I encourage you to try a food from the blog post and try something from the exercise portion you haven't tried.

By the way,I got to put my Epi-pen to use for the first time. Ugh! But praise God for such a device. In case you carry one, the Auvi-Q has been voluntarily recalled by Sanofi. If you have this brand, then you may want to check the status of yours by going to http://allergicliving.com/2015/10/28/auvi-q-recalls-epinephrine-auto-injectors/. If you are fond of breathing like I am, this will be important to you!

Packing Nutrition
My hubby and I pack meals to go all the time. I found this neat set-up at my local Wal-mart. Tonight's meal is in it.Lightly barbeque chicken breast strips, steamed sweet potato, and steamed broccoli with garlic. Oh, not in the picture was a delicious Gala apple. YUM! At any rate, if you are trying to eat healthy but the available food wherever you go is killing your weight loss efforts, this might be the right thing for you. There is also a great salad bowl with lid, fork, and dressing container from the same company.

Get outside and enjoy the outdoors before you can't. Blessings to you for your week!
