My trip to the writers' conference in the Chicago area proved interesting. I went in with three chapters of a book, but came away with a greater vision for the ministry of Totally Fit 4 Life. God tossed the pages in the air, left bits and pieces that didn't seem to go together, then brought a wise, godly woman to show me how I could pull something different together. The chapters I took have a different direction now. Writing is still a call. Totally Fit 4 Life will have also newer direction.
With that being said, you will notice changes happening on the website. Some of them are already in process. Archived articles over one year old have been moved to make way for new content. I left the ones that are still being read like "What's the Big Stink About Shoes?" and "Workout Before You Move Out" on the site. The Writer/Speaker page is being tweaked with information. The title of Totally Fit 4 Life now includes Ministries in the name. There are other groups with the same or similar name, so I wanted to reduce confusion.
Other changes lurk in the background. I am pulling together information for booklets that will be available for purchase, both hard copy and PDF. The health and fitness curriculum is underway as well. Watch for these over the summer.
What won't you see? Free workouts. Period. It's too risky for you and me. The internet is my gym, so you are welcome to hire me for personal training or personal PraiseMoves as the safer method of exercise with me. I also don't have the proper space to teach the classes I hoped for yet. Two households' worth of stuff in a tiny apartment makes videos of exercise classes very difficult. When the space clears, we will do classes. Just a note: the groups doing free workouts have sponsors who seem to be willing to risk their necks. Otherwise, if these changes aren't important to you, you won't feel a drastic difference.
In case you missed them:
Kiwi fruit is a fantastic healthy fruit to add to your cache. One kiwi only has 42 calories and is found low on the glycemic index. This fruit has vitamin C, E, K, copper, fiber, potassium, manganese, and folate. The phytonutrients ward off oxidation to our DNA. Kiwi have great heart and colon health benefits. Eat them in salads, or eat them alone!
