End of Week Review 4/24/2015

Thank you for your patience with my computer glitch. It seems that it didn't shut down properly, although I did things right. At least it is back to normal. As a result, I posted the best I could from my cell phone and re-ran the "Not All Waters are Created Equal".

Speaking of water, make sure you get enough. People try to quench their thirst with anything but water. Instead, they allow caffeinated drinks to dehydrate them or they over sugar/salt themselves. Water is essential to our lives! Drink up!

I gave out 4 business cards at the Sun & Fun Fly-in in Florida! Those people can claim a free 1/2 personal training session, fitness assessment, or a free consultation! When I put up "See me at ..." stop me and say,  "I know you!" for a prize! I will do that off and on this spring and summer.

In case you missed them:

You might also like:

Food of the week: Milk
Milk is a product from cows (and in some cases goats) on dairy farms. It is a versatile liquid that is used to make yogurt, cheese, ice cream, and butter. Best consumed at 2% or skim, it has health benefits for our bones, teeth, skin, eyes  and hair.  An 8 oz glass has 122 calories for 2%, with 5 grams of fat, potassium, 8 grams of protein, calcium and vitamin A. Milk. It does a body good!

Exercise of the week: Lat Pulldown
The lat pulldown works the muscles in the middle portion of your back below the trapezius. It also works biceps, triceps, deltoids, and some of the minor muscles that attach to your spine.  When performed correctly (no behind the head stuff!), it strengthens and tones your shoulders and back. This makes your posture much better and the ability to lift, push and pull objects easier. Want to have a great back for summer? This is the one that works!

God bless you!
