The Secret to Flat Abs

I usually resist the urge to do sensationalist titles like this. There are enough of them out there and people flock like lemmings because they covet the perfect body.  Honestly, it's crazy.  Too many of my clients have fallen prey to this stuff only to be greatly disappointed. Why? Because it is easier to knock yourself out for a few weeks than to make lasting lifestyle changes. The results are drastically different.  So, if the title jumped out at you and you grabbed it, I will do my best to not let you down. There are no gimmicks. Honestly, these are simple things anyone can do. But it's all up to you!

Here they are *whisper*:

  1. Stop eating junk! If you keep putting junk food, highly processed foods, and fast foods into your body, you will literally wear it. Ditch the junk! Say NO to alcohol, too at 9 calories per gram and ZILCH in nutrition. Your body will thank you for it.
  2. Avoid foods that don't like you. Eating foods that cause you to be gassy or bloated is more torture than working out. You can easily add 1-2 inches in your midsection with these foods. Besides, you are hurting yourself. If you make this change, you can avoid major health issues down the road, too.
  3. Stand up straight. Stand up, belly up and in, now breathe! This one is a serious no-brainer. You will look several pounds lighter. Try it! Look in the mirror at your "before" and "after".
  4. Go core! There is more to you than one set of muscles. Work these buddies together because they coordinate well. The overall affect with these muscles together is awesome!
  5. Bust a move! Get up a good sweat, work in your cardio zone, for 30-60 seconds. You can have "washboard abs" with a" full load of laundry" covering it up! Reveal what you've been working so hard for.
  6. Get a lift! Yes, lift weights. You won't look like Arnold Schwartzenegger. Carrying better overall muscle mass and keeping it burns calories.

Whew! That's not so bad, right? The problem for most people is they don't like doing the very things that will help them get what they want.  They want to have their cake and eat it too. You can't have it both ways! You can crunch your belly 'til the cows come home, but you can't make something flat that ain't! I live out in farm country. Can't you tell?

Psst! Was anyone evesdropping? If so, they are in on our little secret too.  Oh, well, I tried! Honestly, this info has been out there for quite sometime intermingled with the flashy stuff.  One woman I trained caused herself to suffer overtraining burnout by doing her ab exercises daily. She was obsessed with getting that perfect tummy. Instead, she ended up sick. She was not willing to accept her own reality. Not everyone was designed by God to be a size 2 model. Don't do that to yourself!

If you were looking for specific exercises to torture yourself, you're not getting it. Personal training is available if you want my direct help to achieve specific results.  If you do what I whispered in your ear, you will be amazed at what will happen!

Let me know how this goes for you. I always love to hear success stories! totallyfit63@gmail.com.

**Note: if you have health issues or take medications that cause weight gain in the midsection, your results may be different.Check with your doctor before trying anything new.

May God bless you!
