First, I want to thank all of you who read the blog posts on Totally Fit 4 Life. You are a blessing and encouragement! I want to put meaningful content out there for you while I serve God through this avenue. Please, feel free to let me know what you want to read at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Second, thank you for your patience last week. Vistaprint is a great website host. But even with how well they handle website hosting, problems crop up. They worked hard to get this site back up and running. It has caused some delays due to the amount of work I had to do in the background.
Changes are still happening in the background on the website to stay relevant for you! I want to keep the website free of pesky pop ups and annoying ads flashing in your reading space. Therefore, I am hand picking merchants who carry products that are of value to my clients and readers. You will find links to Christian Book Distributors with more on the way. Please, help support this effort by using these links to make purchases from these merchants. They will in turn give a percentage of the sales to Totally Fit 4 Life to help cover costs for this site.
I will not be putting a post from Faith Fighters for Christ that I wrote on Wordpress this week. I will resume next week. Those posts are from the 1990’s and early 2000 when my first husband and I were in martial arts ministry. I would like to preserve them and make them available to you. Even though they were written to martial artists, the info applies to yoga, tai chi, and other mind-body exercise that incorporates Zen philosophy and practice. I will also address the Crosswalk.com post, “Should Christians Do Yoga?” and the comments section's lively discussion. It will go up as soon as I get it finished. More will follow later.
In case you missed them:

Food of the Week: Fish
Lent is the time of year when sales of fish at the supermarket are fantastic! However, mercury is a concern when consuming fish.Do you know which fish are safest to eat? Check this out at the NRDC.org.
Exercise of the week: Lateral Raise
Shoulder exercises are very important for most healthy individuals because it targets the middle part of the deltoids. Sitting or standing, they may be done with elbows bent or straight. Holding hand weights, raise the arms out at the side level to the shoulder. Slowly lower arms down. Bending the elbows reduces strain on the neck and upper portion of the trapezius.
